Both beginners and experienced gardeners welcome.
During the growing season, March through November, work bees to keep up with gardening tasks required in the beds in front of the library, usually followed by educational seminars.
The September work bee will focus on weeding, cutting back, and beginning to move plants in preparation for raising the soil level in one long bed still at pre-rock edging level.
September's educational seminar: Horticulturist Steven Nikkila will speak about identifying trees with a look at reusing the wood from storm-downed trees.
