Both beginners and experienced gardeners welcome.

During the growing season, March through November, work bees to keep up with gardening tasks required in the beds in front of the library, usually followed by educational seminars.

Today's topic: Wild Mammals in Your Backyard: This is information to help you identify your local mammals, learn their signs and natural history, and enjoy their presence. Presented by Tim Nowicki, naturalist, resident of Livonia and author of "Awake to Wildlife" (c1994).
