Both beginners and experienced gardeners welcome.
During the growing season, March through November, work bees to keep up with gardening tasks required in the beds in front of the library, usually followed by educational seminars.
June 11th:
Work bee from 4:30p - 6:00p
Time to garden! Our Garden Team this time will aim to fill all bare space with annual flowers and mulch. So trowels, scoop shovel or mulch fork, and wheelbarrows and buckets are the tools of the day. If the weather allows we will also mix some hypertufa to create fake stone curbs along the arbor path. If you want to learn that skill hands-on, please bring rubber/waterproof gloves because concrete is one of the hypertufa ingredients.
Seminar/Meeting from 6:00p-8:00p
We will take a virtual walk through team member Ann's garden to learn plants, placement, pests and perhaps some pruning!.
