The Community Room will be undergoing renovations for several months during 2026.

Due to the Community Room's upcoming renovation in 2026, the Conference Room is not available for outside reservations February-June 2026 as it will be used for numerous library events.

Babytime is recommended for ages 6 months-15 months (pre-walkers).  It includes stories, fingerplays, songs, and free-play/social time.  Caregivers must attend and are encouraged to participate.

Our drop-in Toddlertime storytime is for children ages 16-23 months are 30 minutes long and include a variety of stories, songs, fingerplays, and other activities.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

A forum where serious writers share their work, and receive and provide constructive, supportive critiques of each member’s writing.

Join us for an art workshop.  Students will are learning to draw famous graphic novel characters like Sonic, Dog Man, Minecraft, and more.  Recommended for ages 8-12.  No registration required.

Two-year-old Storytime is 30 minutes long and include a variety of stories, songs, fingerplays, and other activities.  Storytimes are held in our children’s story and craft room.  Children need be accompanied by a parent or a caregiver.

The Waterford Genealogical Society meets the first Wednesday of the month 1-3pm in the library’s Community Room. Genealogy is the study of family ancestries and histories.

Robert, Wendell, and Scout from Therapy Dogs International will be visiting the library so that students can read to them.  Sign up to read to a dog for a 15 minute session.  Please, only sign up for one session per month.
