Library Garden Club

Both beginners and experienced gardeners welcome.

During the growing season, March through November, work bees are held to keep up with gardening tasks required in the beds in front of the library, usually followed by educational seminars. Seminar-only meetings are held in January and February.

January's seminar: Annual Tool Care Workshop

It's our annual tool care workshop. Everyone is welcome!

Bring your nicked pruning tools, dull shovels, rusty weeders or other favorite implements. We'll work together to clean, sharpen and preserve - if you don't know how, don't worry, we will teach you.

Other materials you should bring:

WD40 or similar lubricating oil and a rag
Pocket honing stone and honing oil (check independent hardware stores or online for the stone - should be under $5)
